Krovky jsou jemn\u011b a pravideln\u011b v&nbsp;\u0159\u00e1dc\u00edch te\u010dkovan\u00e9, vzadu stejnosm\u011brn\u011b vypoukl\u00e9, lekle hn\u011bd\u00e9 a\u017e \u010dern\u00e9 se \u017elut\u00fdmi pod\u00e9ln\u00fdmi pruhy. Tykadlov\u00fd bi\u010d\u00edk \u010dty\u0159\u010dlenn\u00fd, tykadlov\u00e1 pali\u010dka jedno\u010dlenn\u00e1 ploch\u00e1, ov\u00e1ln\u011b zakon\u010den\u00e1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Ekologie druhu: <\/strong>Univoltinn\u00ed.<strong> <\/strong>Roj\u00ed se od poloviny b\u0159ezna (ni\u017e\u0161\u00ed polohy) do konce kv\u011btna (hory). Sami\u010dka hlod\u00e1 nejd\u0159\u00edve radi\u00e1ln\u00ed vstupn\u00ed chodbu dosahuj\u00edc\u00ed hloubky 0,5\u20133 cm, potom 1\u20136 mate\u010dn\u00fdch chodeb, asi t\u0159etina z&nbsp;nich sleduje pr\u016fb\u011bh letokruh\u016f, ostatn\u00ed je r\u016fzn\u011b prot\u00ednaj\u00ed. Vstupn\u00ed a mate\u010dn\u00e9 chodby maj\u00ed pr\u016f\u0159ez cca 1,4\u20131,7 mm. Mate\u010dn\u00e9 chodby 4\u20135 cm dlouh\u00e9 a asi 1,4 mm \u0161irok\u00e9. Sami\u010dka denn\u011b prodlu\u017euje radi\u00e1ln\u00ed chodbu asi o 3 mm a mate\u010dnou cca o 2 mm. Vyhlodan\u00e9 drtinky s&nbsp;trusem same\u010dek odstra\u0148uje, drtinky se pak hromad\u00ed u vstupn\u00edho otvoru. Sami\u010dka, st\u0159\u00eddav\u011b do dna i stropu mate\u010dn\u00e9 chodby, d\u011bl\u00e1 jamky, do kter\u00fdch klade po vaj\u00ed\u010dku. P\u0159i hlouben\u00ed chodeb a vaje\u010dn\u00fdch jamek \u0161\u00ed\u0159\u00ed symbiotick\u00e9 ambroziov\u00e9 houby (<em>Ambrosiella ferruginea, Leptographium lundbergi, Ceratocystis picea<\/em>\u2026). Larvov\u00e9 chodby jdou nahoru a dol\u016f ve sm\u011bru vl\u00e1ken a jsou kr\u00e1tk\u00e9 4\u20137 mm. Larv\u00e1ln\u00ed v\u00fdvoj je relativn\u011b dlouh\u00fd (cca 1,5 m\u011bs\u00edce), vyl\u00edhnut\u00ed brouci prod\u011bl\u00e1vaj\u00ed zralostn\u00ed \u017e\u00edr na ambrosiov\u00fdch houb\u00e1ch. Zimuj\u00ed brouci v&nbsp;hrabance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>V\u00fdznam druhu: <\/strong>V\u00fdznamn\u00fd technick\u00fd \u0161k\u016fdce jehli\u010dnat\u00e9ho d\u0159eva. Napad\u00e1 ned\u00e1vno pok\u00e1cen\u00e9 nebo pol\u00e1man\u00e9 a vyvr\u00e1cen\u00e9 d\u0159eviny. Intenzivn\u011b obsazuje pa\u0159ezy a spodn\u00ed \u010d\u00e1sti zlom\u016f.
