Mate\u010dn\u00e9 chodby jsou pod\u00e9ln\u00e9, 4\u20136 cm dlouh\u00e9 a 1,5 mm \u0161irok\u00e9, p\u0159i z\u00e1vrtech botkovit\u011b roz\u0161\u00ed\u0159en\u00e9. Larvov\u00e9 chodby jsou dlouh\u00e9, nepravideln\u00e9, p\u0159ekr\u00fdvaj\u00ed se. Mlad\u00ed brouci se l\u00edhnou b\u011bhem koncem srpna a p\u0159ezimuj\u00ed v&nbsp;m\u00edst\u011b v\u00fdvoje, v&nbsp;hrabance apod.
