Larva je b\u011blav\u00e1, rohl\u00ed\u010dkovit\u00e1, beznoh\u00e1. Dorostl\u00e1 m\u011b\u0159\u00ed 4\u20135 mm. Vaj\u00ed\u010dka jsou drobn\u00e1, ov\u00e1ln\u00e1, skeln\u011b b\u011blav\u00e1. Kukla je voln\u00e1, b\u00edl\u00e1. Po\u017eerek tvo\u0159\u00ed zpravidla 2 p\u0159\u00ed\u010dn\u00e9, m\u00edrn\u011b obloukovit\u00e9, svorkovit\u00e9, do b\u011bli hluboko za\u0159\u00edznut\u00e9 mate\u010dn\u00e9 chodby, dlouh\u00e9 asi 3\u201310 cm. Larvov\u00e9 chodby jsou relativn\u011b \u0159\u00eddk\u00e9, zpravidla jen 2\u20133, p\u0159\u00edp. 5 cm dlouh\u00e9. Vyb\u00edhaj\u00ed na ob\u011b strany mate\u010dn\u00fdch chodeb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>EKOLOGIE DRUHU:<\/strong> p\u0159ezimuj\u00edc\u00ed brouci se roj\u00ed v pr\u016fb\u011bhu dubna a kv\u011btna. Same\u010dci se zavrt\u00e1vaj\u00ed skrz tenkou, pap\u00edrovitou borku a vytv\u00e1\u0159ej\u00ed snubn\u00ed kom\u016frku. P\u0159il\u00e1kan\u00e9 a oplodn\u011bn\u00e9 sami\u010dky, zpravidla 2, vyhlod\u00e1vaj\u00ed mate\u010dnou chodbu, do kter\u00e9 kladou vaj\u00ed\u010dka. Vyl\u00edhl\u00e9 larvy vy\u017e\u00edraj\u00ed v b\u011bli a l\u00fdku chodbi\u010dky, v nich\u017e se n\u011bkdy tak\u00e9 \u017eiv\u00ed p\u0159\u00edtomn\u00fdm, na b\u00edlkoviny vydatn\u00fdm podhoub\u00edm. V posledn\u00edm instaru se kukl\u00ed v kolmo do d\u0159eva vyhlouben\u00e9 kukeln\u00e9 kom\u016frce. Nov\u00ed brouci se objevuj\u00ed v \u010dervenci a srpnu, kdy nal\u00e9t\u00e1vaj\u00ed do korun zdrav\u00fdch strom\u016f. Zde se zavrt\u00e1vaj\u00ed do \u010derstv\u00fdch v\u00fdhonk\u016f, jejich\u017e d\u0159e\u0148 vy\u017e\u00edraj\u00ed v r\u00e1mci zralostn\u00edho \u017e\u00edru. V odum\u0159el\u00fdch v\u00fdhonc\u00edch z\u016fst\u00e1vaj\u00ed a\u017e do podzimu a spolu s nimi padaj\u00ed na zem, kde je opou\u0161t\u011bj\u00ed a zal\u00e9zaj\u00ed do hrabanky k p\u0159ezimov\u00e1n\u00ed. Druh m\u00e1 1, v teplej\u0161\u00edch letech i 2 generace v roce.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>V\u00ddZNAM DRUHU:<\/strong> l\u00fdkohub men\u0161\u00ed je agresivn\u011bj\u0161\u00edm druhem ne\u017e l\u00fdkohub sosnov\u00fd \u2013 napad\u00e1 i m\u00e1lo oslaben\u00e9 stromy a p\u0159i p\u0159emno\u017een\u00ed i stromy zcela zdrav\u00e9. Vyv\u00edj\u00ed se p\u0159ev\u00e1\u017en\u011b v horn\u00edch parti\u00edch stromu, kde je tenk\u00e1, pap\u00edrovit\u00e1 borka. Spolu s larvami \u0161kod\u00ed sv\u00fdm zralostn\u00edm \u017e\u00edrem t\u00e9\u017e brouci. Po\u0161kozuj\u00ed velk\u00e9 mno\u017estv\u00ed v\u00fdhonk\u016f, kter\u00e9 se vlivem v\u011btru ulamuj\u00ed. Opakovan\u00e1 ztr\u00e1ta asimila\u010dn\u00edho apar\u00e1tu m\u016f\u017ee v\u00e9st a\u017e k uhynut\u00ed d\u0159eviny.<\/p>\n\n\n<style type=\"text\/css\">\n#foogallery-gallery-4737 .fg-image { width: 560px;
