Z\u00e1\u010f krovek je zkosen\u00e1, s matnou prohlubn\u00ed. Mezir\u00fd\u017e\u00ed krovek nen\u00ed te\u010dkovan\u00e9. Cel\u00e9 t\u011blo je \u0159\u00eddce chloupkovan\u00e9 jemn\u00fdmi, dlouh\u00fdmi, odst\u00e1l\u00fdmi, \u017elutav\u011b rezav\u00fdmi chloupky. Larva je b\u011blav\u00e1, rohl\u00ed\u010dkovit\u00e1, beznoh\u00e1, se siln\u011b chitinizovanou hn\u011bdou hlavou. \u010cerstv\u011b vyl\u00edhl\u00e1 larva m\u011b\u0159\u00ed kolem 2 mm, dorostl\u00e1 pak 5\u20137 mm. Vaj\u00ed\u010dka jsou drobn\u00e1, ov\u00e1ln\u00e1, leskle b\u011blav\u00e1, v pr\u016fm\u011bru 0,6\u20131 mm velk\u00e1. Kukla je voln\u00e1, b\u00edl\u00e1, 5\u20136 mm dlouh\u00e1, na zade\u010dku zakon\u010den\u00e1 2 kr\u00e1tk\u00fdmi trny. Po\u017eerek je hv\u011bzdicovit\u00fd, slo\u017een\u00fd z 1\u20133 mate\u010dn\u00fdch chodeb. Mate\u010dn\u00e9 chodby jsou rovn\u00e9, rovnob\u011b\u017en\u00e9 s pod\u00e9lnou osou kmene, 6\u201312 cm dlouh\u00e9, s n\u011bkolika nepravideln\u00fdmi v\u011btrac\u00edmi otvory. Larvov\u00e9 chodby jsou krat\u0161\u00ed, do 6 cm dlouh\u00e9. Snubn\u00ed kom\u016frka je pom\u011brn\u011b v\u00fdrazn\u00e1, 5&#215;5 mm velk\u00e1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>EKOLOGIE DRUHU:<\/strong> jarn\u00ed rojen\u00ed brouk\u016f za\u010d\u00edn\u00e1 na p\u0159elomu dubna a kv\u011btna, za p\u0159\u00edzniv\u00e9ho po\u010das\u00ed v\u0161ak m\u016f\u017ee ji\u017e za\u010d\u00e1tkem dubna; ve vy\u0161\u0161\u00edch poloh\u00e1ch pak a\u017e v 2. polovin\u011b kv\u011btna. Same\u010dci nal\u00e9t\u00e1vaj\u00ed na stromy, vyhlod\u00e1vaj\u00ed snubn\u00ed kom\u016frky a l\u00e1kaj\u00ed sami\u010dky. Oplodn\u011bn\u00e9 sami\u010dky pak vyhlod\u00e1vaj\u00ed mate\u010dn\u00e9 chodby, v nich\u017e kladou postupn\u011b vaj\u00ed\u010dka. Z vaj\u00ed\u010dek se za 1\u20132 t\u00fddny l\u00edhnou larvy. Po 2\u20137 t\u00fddnech, v z\u00e1vislosti na teplot\u011b, dokon\u010duj\u00ed larvy sv\u016fj v\u00fdvoj a na konc\u00edch sv\u00fdch chodeb se kukl\u00ed. Mlad\u00ed brouci prod\u011bl\u00e1vaj\u00ed po vyl\u00edhnut\u00ed zralostn\u00ed \u017e\u00edr, a to bu\u010f p\u0159\u00edmo v po\u017eerku nebo p\u0159el\u00e9t\u00e1vaj\u00ed na jin\u00e9 kmeny \u010di pa\u0159ezy, do jejich\u017e k\u016fry se zavrt\u00e1vaj\u00ed. Letn\u00ed rojen\u00ed brouk\u016f 2. generace prob\u00edh\u00e1 zhruba od poloviny \u010dervna do po\u010d\u00e1tku srpna. P\u0159\u00edpadn\u00e1 t\u0159et\u00ed generace se roj\u00ed na p\u0159elomu srpna a z\u00e1\u0159\u00ed. P\u0159ezimuj\u00ed larvy, kukly nebo dosp\u011blci. Dosp\u011blci p\u0159ezimuj\u00ed bu\u010f p\u0159\u00edmo v po\u017eerku nebo jinde pod k\u016frou \u2013 v m\u00edst\u011b n\u00e1hradn\u00edho znalostn\u00edho \u017e\u00edru, p\u0159\u00edpadn\u011b v hrabance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>V\u00ddZNAM DRUHU:<\/strong> l\u00fdko\u017erout smrkov\u00fd je v\u00fdznamn\u00fd \u0161k\u016fdce smrkov\u00fdch porost\u016f. P\u0159ednostn\u011b napad\u00e1 odum\u00edraj\u00edc\u00ed a odum\u0159el\u00e9 stromy, av\u0161ak p\u0159i p\u0159emno\u017een\u00ed napad\u00e1 i zdrav\u00e9 stromy a je schopen po\u0161kodit
